Thank you to Brother (Elder) Warner and his fiance for picking up tis precious package and delivering her safely to the MTC.

Week 1 - MTC

How’s it going everyone!!

The first week was amazing! I am definitely enjoying every moment here!

Like I said in my phone call with my family, I’m a Sister Training Leader(in training). I really just attend the meetings and make sure our sisters in our district and zone stay up to date! Our sisters that are the STLs before us are leaving next week! 😭 I don’t think I could have asked for better sisters to have train me! They are so amazing!

They are just so awesome and love us so much without even really knowing us and I love it. But we all know each other now and we spend any free time we have with each other!

Our district is amazing, half of us are going to Houston, Texas and half are going Charleston, West Virginia! We’ve all become so close but we still are learning so much about each other. We help each other grow with the gospel every day by sharing stories that have changed our lives and sharing our testimonies but it changes everyday because we learn more and more everyday. Our district leader is also going to Houston, Texas which is pretty rad! My roommates have become like sisters to me and I’m not even the youngest! My comp is the youngest (😏) ! Means she goes first for everything.

My companion is Sister Molisi! In the district picture she’s right next to me!! Our district leader is Elder Green! I guess I can just name everyone left to right: Elders Frey (WV) , Harrison (WV), Williams (TX), Green (TX) district leader, Wooden (TX-West), Anderson (WV), Hendricks (WV), then sisters Tanuvasa (WV), chamberlain (WV), Thurber (it was her last day as our instructor), Molisi (TX), me, and Elder Lindsay (TX)!

Some fun things that happened on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was that Elder Anderson (you know THE FREAKING APOSTLE) and his wife came and talked with us! We got to hear David Archuleta sing to us! We got to watch 2 movies: Christmas for a dollar and a Christmas carol (the older one, not the one with Jim Carrey). My favorite thing that we did together was secret Santa, it was the sisters and I that came up with it. Everyone was missing home and what better way to make each other happy then seeing what your friend is going to get you! It makes you think about that more than your family! So I had picked Elder Wooden and he kept telling me how much he loved basketball and how he needed to get a journal because he wanted to right down everything that’s been happening! So I got him a journal, candy and some pens. One of the pens had a basketball design on it 😏 (nailed it). Elder Williams got me m&ms because me and my companion are Mullings and Molisi and there was a little note attached and it was so sweet! I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better district!

For exercise time, I played volleyball. I got nailed in the face 3 times, and by the same person every time and he’s in my zone!

I hope you’re all doing well, and having a blast! I hope you get the chance to email me and tell me about your many endeavors!!

I Love y’all so much!
